Celebrate Valentine’s Day & Save the Planet!

I was looking for a Vegan wallet for my guy at Christmas time and stumbled upon a really great site! These amazing people at www.mattandnat.com have some really great items for guys and gals. They kind of have a boho-chic look to their items. I believe they use to make men’s wallets and now only make men’s bags but ladies they have a few really great handbags and wallets for women. Point your man in this direction! When you visit their site they have their spring 2012 collection right on the front page, waiting for you to investigate!  Their products are amazing as well as their ambition to put “both feet forward” to help our planet! The linings of ALL their handbags and wallets are made out of…wait for it, 100% RECYCLED PLASTIC BOTTLES! They say on average it takes about 21 plastic bottles to make one handbag. Also, in 2011 they started using Cork for all of their labels and of course all products are animal cruelty free. I know right, what a great contribution to helping our Planet Earth. I was really blown away by the quality of the product and how much they were interested in doing well by our planet.

So besides making great quality products their bags look fashion fab! One of my favorites is Goldfrapp purse.  It is a bright green and looks a little distressed. Bright colors are in! Some of their main colors this season are green, white and papaya. The average price for a bag is about $100. Personally, I think it is well worth it when you have people that are doing what they can to help Planet Earth and to helping others. There is no price high enough to save our precious planet.

PS – I did find one of their earlier men’s wallets on e-bay and bought it, the wallet looks like real leather (but isn’t) and is made out of REALLY great quality material. Also, “the guy”, he LOVES it! 😉
